february is not my best

it's cold

and dreary.

we try to go out

as much as possible

to see art and stuff

and hang out with our family

but it's tiring

projects help

and celebrating valentine's day

- hoping for spring.

the weekend

yesterday it snowed

we were here

just to check it out

and after

at mandarin kitchen

we had dim sum

on saturday afternoon 

we went to watch

crashed ice

at the cathedral

the weekend black and white edition

this was sunday night

after dinner

these two were all buttoned up

in their plaid shirts

on saturday night

there was a little girl time

with a favorite cousin

and in the afternoon

 ski lessons

 earlier that day

we were at the art institute today-

penelope did a little drawing

there were some dramatic moments too

on new years eve

we were at the zoo

there was a ball drop at noon

later 

we roasted marshmallows at 

a little event 

last weekend

we went bowling 

with friends

this was christmas eve

and this was christmas morning.

before christmas

we celebrated 

the hmong new year 

at patrick's school

we also hung out at little cafes. 

-but it felt like there was not enough time

so penelope wrote a letter to her principal.

a christmas tree farm

we were all excited to 

cut down our own tree

the tractor picked us up

on our way back

after all that

 we were hungry

we went to 

meister's bar and grill

 in stillwater- it's great.

and on sunday 

it snowed like crazy.
