christmas tree cutting, a dive bar and crazy snow

on saturday we went to 

a christmas tree farm

we were all excited to 

cut down our own tree 

my turn first.

look at penelope-

so mad and telling me I'm doing it wrong

we worked it out

and everyone had a turn

i think we got a good one.

it was tall

and heavy

they managed.

the tractor picked us up

on our way back

after all that

 we were hungry

we went to 

meister's bar and grill

 in stillwater- it's great.

and on sunday 

it snowed like crazy.

art, a parade, crepes and prince (again)

 saturday

we were out all day. 

first the walker

here is penelope

in the art lab 

and doing a little drawing

later we were at 

the holidazzle parade

it was warm out,

but it still felt like

 a winter wonderland

crepes at vincent-

nutella for penelope.

and public enemy too.

thanksgiving, santa claus, the weisman and an homage to prince

so, on sunday we decided to go 

downtown to the schmitt music wall

we wanted to recreate this  photo 

of prince 

it was really fun.

a nice man in the parking lot took this one 

of the three of us

this was before the music wall,

but same vibe

we were also at the weisman museum

for some art viewing

and drawing

there was a brief attempt to run away-

but she came back.

on friday we visited macy's 

8th floor holiday display

and saw santa claus

penelope sent a letter to the north pole

and we recovered from 

 thanksgiving.

c'est la vie

we had this great weekend,

on sunday morning

we were out collecting twigs and things

we used them to create a 

thanksgiving centerpiece

we painted everything

neon pink

and orange

later in the day we 

went bowling

penelope with her uncles

and waiting for her turn.

art obsessed.
