this was our view-

our seats were way up high-

penelope loved it though-

she was dancing and singing-

a great first concert i think!

the last few days

last wednesday penelope was home from school-

she had a little virus, but was well enough 

to go on a few work outings with me.

we stopped in at lucia's for a 

baguette and some steamed milk.

i miss hanging out with that kid everyday.

she felt better on friday 

and created this on the 

playground after school.

on saturday, patrick and i went to a party- 

just us. a rare event.

on sunday we met some friends

and went bowling-

and then went for a nice walk.

feeling fall

fall always makes us a little sad-

and then we have a vanilla malt 

to try and cheer up.

the thing is-

we are summer people.

-sunshine, water, a little tree climbing...

we love it.

hula-hooping helps

and rock and roll 

of course.

the weekend

we went to an apple orchard

on saturday

just hanging out with friends

laying in a corn bed

and getting a face painting.
